Fei Yue Community Services granted SGD 170,000 to expand support for socially withdrawn youth
SINGAPORE (January 21, 2026) – Chick-fil-A® Inc. today marked a significant milestone for the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® program by presenting the inaugural grant in Singapore – SGD 170,000 to local social service agency Fei Yue Community Services, facilitated through the National Council of Social Services.
Founded in 2015 to honor the legacy of the brand’s founder S. Truett Cathy, the Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® program recognizes local non-profit organizations for their efforts in caring for communities, people, or the planet. Chick-fil-A has awarded more than 400 grants totaling nearly USD 40 million. The inaugural grant in Singapore proudly extends this commitment, underscoring Chick-fil-A’s long-term commitment to supporting organizations that make a positive impact on the local community.
Caring for Hidden Youth
The grant will support Fei Yue’s Hidden Youth Outreach Services (HYOS), a program dedicated to reaching and reintegrating socially withdrawn youth, often referred to as “hidden youth,” by reconnecting them with school, vocational training, and employment pathways.
Leveraging Fei Yue’s experience of supporting hidden youth in Singapore over the past three years, the grant will strengthen upstream efforts to reach youth before social withdrawal happens. Designed to complement existing networks of support, the service will lower barriers to help-seeking and enable early intervention through a mix of online and in-person touchpoints, helping more young people access timely guidance and care.
